CHRISTIE FRONT DRIVE has confirmed an appearance on February 25, 2012 at the 20th annual Noise Pop festival in San Francisco, CA. More details will be announced soon, but we wanted to give you plenty of time to mark this on your calendar!

Our favorite Italians are coming over in March and could use your help.

Earlier in the year, we released A  Sailor Lost Around the Earth by VALERIAN SWING. Since then, they’ve been hitting their home country and Europe at large extremely hard with shows, tours, and festivals galore. Encouraged by the support and response abroad, they’re hoping that American audiences will appreciate their frenetic brand of loud and energetic sonic explorations.

As many of you know, Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, and Philip Seymour-Hoffman, opened this past Friday nationwide. The film’s narrative is driven heavily by the piece “The Mighty Rio Grande” by our dudes THIS WILL DESTROY YOU, from the album S/T. The song is featured 5 times throughout the film and drives the official theatrical trailer (see below). The folks involved with the production of the movie were extremely kind to both the label and the band throughout the entire process, so we wish to thank them for all of they’ve done. Beyond that, we’d like to personally thank everyone out there that supported the film and helped it realize such a massive opening.

Dwid Hellion (of INTEGRITY) and Boyd Rice (of NON) will be uniting unholy forces this September in France at the L’etrange Festival. The pair will performing a live soundtrack accompaniment to a special screening of the cult classic Dementia. This is a one-time-only performance not to be missed for fans of all involved.

If you’re familiar with the film, you’ll recall that there is absolutely no dialogue for the duration. This should open it up wide to interpretation and enable Dwid and Boyd to come in and shape an entirely unique viewing experience for those in attendance. We hope you can make it to this event and we wish the best of luck to Dwid and Boyd as they head into it.

God dammit, we love Tony Trujillo and Rune Glifberg more than most human beings. We also love Thrasher mag, a relationship that’s currently 25 years strong (first issue we bought was in 1986 – newsprint days!)…wow.

We’ve had about a month or so now to cool down from the JESUIT Discography LP+7″/CD and BIG CHINA & LITTLE TROUBLE Lo-Panning LP mailorder workload/crush. Thanks to everyone who supported those releases with such enthusiasm. It was an insane amount of work putting every facet of both together, but entirely worth it. Nothing feels better than seeing tub after tub of mailers head out of here and off to their new destinations.

All that being said, things are about to get beyond ridiculous later this summer/early fall. The following update is for things that are actually in various stages of production. I’ve omitted the “coming soon” list and other projects in the pipeline because this is more than enough for everyone to process right now as-is.
