Okay, so this is the sixth pressing of THIS WILL DESTROY YOU‘s Young Mountain LP. It’s pretty hilarious that at one point, I wasn’t sure if we’d blow through the first pressing or not. I don’t think any of us ever thought that the band would turn into the absolute touring machine it’s become.

Anyway, this pressing has that gold ink/brown paper scheme we’ve gone to at least a couple times by now. The major difference with this one is that this one has some straight icy adornments in the background, as we are men of great taste and shit. Vinyl-color-wise, we’ve got two options for this pressing.  First up is what I’m calling “Make it Purple Rain.”  Basically, a fancy way of describing that mushy multi-color blobby mess that you get back when you tell United to “surprise” you.  Then there’s a red version that has some white in it, causing each copy to have some degree of its own unique marbling. Some ended up opaque, some have translucent portions. It was kinda fun checking all of them out during assembly.

Also, for this pressing, I actually remembered to toss in digital download coupons.  I mean, I know you already downloaded this for free years ago, but I’m pretty stoked on actually remembering to hit these with coupons, as I don’t think any of the previous pressings had them.  Who knows… maybe there really is someone still out there who hasn’t already downloaded the album… Buy this banger here.
