I’d like to say I was surprised at how quickly the first pressing of this little gem sold out (I think it took like 3 days?), but we are talking about truly one of the greatest hardcore bands of all time…

Status of the band itself aside, I’m sure a lot of people were unquestionably blown away by the strength of the material on this particular 7″. Certainly the “VValpürgisnacht” single demonstrated that something special was brewing between the collaborative forces of Dwid and Orr, but most would agree that it’s counterintuitive to anticipate that a band 20 years into its run would be putting out what is arguably its best material.  It just doesn’t happen too often, but completely undeniable in this instance. To this end, it’s a total honor to be releasing records for a band that has earned so much respect over the years, but also one that is still pushing their music forward to entirely new levels of unfuckwithable awesomeness.  It’s violent, it’s anthemic, it’s timeless… everything an instant classic hardcore 7″ needs to be.

For pressing #2, we ran 425 on white vinyl. The etched skull on the B-side is still intact and we went with a unique mylar sleeve that we haven’t used in 8 years. If you own the Corn on Macabre “Chapter II” 7″, you’ll know what I’m talking about.  Almost like those super-protective comic book sleeves from back in the day.  Super rigid.  There’s also 75 copies on opaque red.  I had them match PMS 186. These are band-only copies for Dwid and Rob to do as they please.  So keep an eye out for them popping up here and there.  In the meantime, snag a white copy here.
